What happens in Aurora, happens to me

in abortion, action alert, anti-choice extremism, religious fanaticism, reproductive justice, social conservatives, women’s health

Remember the story about the Aurora, IL Planned Parenthood clinic? The one that is scheduled to open on the 18th, and has been descended upon by over a thousand anti-choice activists, who are accusing Planned Parenthood of fraud while trying to gain the right to protest outside of clinic workers’ homes?

I don’t know about you, but I sure as hell wish that I could be there to take part in the counter-protests and show my support.

Now, you can be– sort of. Sign this petition, and Planned Parenthood will tie a ribbon outside of the clinic in your name.

Spread the word! I think that the people of Aurora and Planned Parenthood deserve to see thousands upon thousands of supporters. Imagine how all of the ribbons will look together when displayed. It will be truly beautiful and inspiring– and the people who work for such an awesome organization (if I do say so myself) definitely need it and have earned it.

Thank you so much, Cara. This is such a great, and very easy, way to get involved and show solidarity. I will be forwarding this petition to many pro-choice women I know and love!
