The 45th Carnival of Feminists is up at Feminist Philosphers. They were nice enough (or someone else was!) to nominate one of my posts. A lot of other great bloggers that I personally read are a part of the carnival, too, so I urge you to check it out!
The 31st Carnival Against Sexual Violence has been up for a few days. I have two posts included in the Carnival, and there is a HUGE collection of other posts that will keep you busy for a long time.
This isn’t feminist related, but a close friend of mine (who is a feminist!) started the Bookworms Carnival, and the September edition is now up at Booknut. For those of you who love to read, head on over there.
This is completey unrelated, but going through my blog traffic this morning, I learned that this post is the number one hit on Yahoo! for “Kate Chopin bullshit.” Pretty funny, since I gave the book a good review. Sadly enough, the same seach through Google seems to not pull up the post at all. Damn.

You’re back! Missed you!
I’ve had a post of mine appear in the C of F without submitting it, so I think there are people who care enough about the carnival that if they notice something that would fit, they send in the url.
I liked The Awakening as well. I was pretty thrown by the end, but I felt the same after reading A Doll’s House. I did hate that she committed suicide, I would have loved for her to tell both men where to put it, sued for divorce, and lived her life. But it was written in the 20s or 30s wasn’t it?
