Hi everyone, I just wanted to acknowledge the new ads on the sidebar. I’m actually pretty excited about them, because even though they take up more room, I think that they look a lot better. I also have the opportunity to chose any industries or companies that I do not want to receive advertising from, not to mention the fact that it’s based off of impressions, not clicks, so it might actually make me some money (enough to cover the hosting fees would be GREAT).
I just wanted to ask for your patience while any glitches are worked out. For example, an ad for Uncle Ben’s Rice has been appearing, and I know that the image (or the history of the image) of Uncle Ben is considered by many to be racist and offensive. I apologize for that, and it’s being taken care of. Since all of the other ads seem to be very tasteful, and I have already excluded other potentially offensive industries (cosmetics, dieting . . .), I imagine that it will be a fluke. But if you see something that you consider questionable, please let me know and I’ll have it removed ASAP.
Much love.
