Via the Planned Parenthood Aurora Blog, the Illinois State Attorney has released a statement that the final investigation as to how PP obtained its building permits has been completed, and the findings are that Planned Parenthood complied with the law. As anyone with half a brain, it seems, knew all along.

The matter is still in court, though. It seems that it’s now it’s up to the city whether or not to keep fighting the opening. But if I’m interpreting the results of the investigation correctly, it seems like they don’t have a legal leg to stand on, anymore.

Here’s to hoping that they’ll do the right thing and that the people of Aurora will start receiving vital reproductive health care very, very soon.

UPDATE: The clinic will open.
