Sigh.
I live in New Jersey, but I'm about 20 minutes from Philly, which has one of the highest crime rates in the country, falling 6th on the list of Most Dangerous Cities with a population of over 500,000. It's also located directly across the river from Camden, NJ, the #1 most dangerous city in the country, overall. How anyone living in a city with such statistics could downgrade any violent act that's brought before them is entirely beyond me.

But it doesn't surprise me that Deni was retained. The Philadelphia mentality is very much Keep Your Head Down, Don't Look, and Keep Walking. People in the city don't want to know what happens to other people in the city unless it threatens a "safe" zone, like Rittenhouse Square or Queens Village.
