The Joke That Never Gets Old

Via Melissa at Shakes comes this video from Will Ferrell and some of his moron “comedy” buddies (no, I’m not a fan) that is so bad I couldn’t bring myself to use the “humor” tag. The whole thing is ridiculously stupid, but if you can sit through the first two and a half minutes of non-jokes about people who are eco-friendly, you’ll be rewarded at the end with a completely random and blatant joke about gang rape, and who doesn’t love one of those? Enjoy:

Every time I have it in my heart that humanity might be starting to get closer to respecting women, I have something like this to take that little bit of light in my soul and turn it into a smouldering crater of disgust.
Mmm. Yeah, I kind of re-lose my hope for humanity on a daily basis.
It’s not that this would be okay if it were funny, or that there’s such a thing as a real knee slapper of a gang rape joke, but after watching it, I thought “But…that’s not even FUNNY.”
Also, you know, insert creepiness and revulsion and stuff, because ew.
I agree, akeeyu. It’s not even like an offensive in-really-poor-taste kind of joke. I don’t see anything that anyone could discern as resembling “humor” in that gang rape joke. As for the rest of it, taking a person or group of people and having them act like they’re stupid frat boys doesn’t qualify as satire, it’s just stupid. And boring.
