Anyone who has watched a single Republican debate knows that Tom Tancredo is a raving, racist lunatic. You’d think that all of his bullshit about how immigrants are terrorists who steal “our” jobs and refuse to learn English would be bad enough. But now, via Racialicious, he has called undocumented immigrants child rapists.

The best part, of course, is that it’s not only a lie: even if it were true, the children they would be raping would be, um . . . their own. You know, the kids that Tom Tancredo doesn’t give a shit about and wants to deport so that they can go live with all of the drug pushers, kid rapists and life destroyers. Because almost all sexually abused children in non-war torn countries are abused by someone they know. Like here, in America. By white people.
But hey, you heard it here first, folks: they don’t belong. Not that he means that in a racist way or anything.

Isn’t “someone needs to say it” one of the standard statements that usually precedes some stunningly large pile of racist horseshit?
You know, like “I’m not racist, but…” or “I don’t have anything against (insert ethnicity or social group here), but…”?
Well, to be fair, “someone needs to say it” is also sometimes followed by an outrageously offensive statement about women or Teh Gays.

Well, goodness knows we Americans would never have thought up such atrocities on our own! I know nobody who was raped as a child by white-skinned, red-blooded Americans! Mothers are never killed by their American husbands. And drugs are obviously being foisted upon us by those unscrupulous foreign bastards. I’m just relieved that our own home-grown North American gangs use the kind, gentle tactics we all know and love.
Right, ’cause I was totally buying all my drugs in high school from the Mexican kids with tattooed knuckles and faces, in between their gang rapings and mother executions.
Oh, wait, no. I was buying them from my middle-class neighbors. Right.
Honestly, people get scarier and scarier every day. I just don’t understand how one can be comfortable thinking these things.
