Human Rights Day

Unfortunately, I am feeling rather ill today. That means I’m going to go curl up with a book and rest, and will probably not post for the rest of the day. But I do want to bring your attention to the fact that today is Human Rights Day. That means it’s also the last day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. Thank you to everyone who took part in some way. If you have posts you’d like to share, or if you have participated in direct activism, I’d love to hear about it. Leave your links and stories in the comments. Sokari has also put up the Carnival of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence — please, do check it out!

And don’t forget that while these 16 Days are set aside each year to bring attention to the problem, gender violence is still an issue everywhere, every day of the year. Don’t stop talking, writing or acting. And if you haven’t been involved up to this point, it’s never too late to start.

I made some posts, which are under the 16 Days tag.
