In an ideal world I would be surprised to hear about something like this happening. And yet I'm not surprised at all. Typical O'Reilly.

I wasn't using or thinking of the term in that way, but you're absolutely right about where the term originally came from and how it is used against the non-elite class. So yes, you make a good point; thanks for saying something.

I'm sorry, but this isn't the way to reclaim the term 'low class.' Calling someone 'low class' is an insult and it's more often used in a 'I have more power/money/education/friends than you' kind of way, often to shut someone up.

O'Reilly deserves crap for what he did.

But we really shouldn't be hurling around 'low class' everywhere. It's insulting to people who are poor/perceived poor/uneducated/perceived uneducated or otherwise offended by being called 'low class' or 'classless.'

The Bill O'Reilly Show is where the full-spin cycle is always in effect.

Quite frankly, I don't even know why O'Reilly attempted to crash Obama's stump. Neocons will stop at nothing to get their agenda across. Pretty damn sad.

O'Reilly needs to just hide in his shell.

"Secret Service agents assigned to protect Obama ordered O’Reilly back behind the barricade."

Oh how I would have paid to see that.

O’Reilly has always reminded me of that insanely hyper, skinny kid in grade school with the obnoxiously annoying laugh, the first one to raise his hand etc. The same kid who always wonders why he gets picked on. I bet you it was O'Reilly.
