Vervassal, I moved your comment over to this thread since it's more on topic over here. But I did want to thank you for the link -- you've inspired my blog against sexual violence for tomorrow.

I thought you should read this, get the word out. It's the most disgusting piece of shit I've seen in a while. Women more troubled by bag theft than rape, BNP candidate claims.

The article quotes Nick Eriksen as saying: "I've never understood why so many men have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the feminazi myth machine into believing that rape is such a serious crime ... Rape is simply sex. Women enjoy sex, so rape cannot be such a terrible physical ordeal..." and so on.

Ugh.

Hmm, that's funny. You're on my list to add to my blogroll when I move my blog.
I guess I'm something of an anomaly though.
I'd be interested to know if you have any other Conservative Pro-Life readers. Women's issues transcend the left-right divide in my opinion.

I would like to add, on a somewhat related note (maybe), that today (April 2nd) is also autism awareness day. It would be nice if you gave some credit to the women who deal with this issue every single day of their lives, devoting all their time to a child with autism. I babysit an autistic boy, and the strength and endurance that his mother has is amazing. She truly is an amazing woman to be able to love her son unconditionally, even with the heartbreak of him not recognizing her, not telling her that he loves her and giving her kisses. You can find more about this at Autism Speaks. Thank you for your time, and I just hope everyone can recognize some true women heroes on this autism awareness day.
