(I&#039;m embarassed to admit I once disconnected a call at my call centre because the caller &#039;accused&#039; me of being racist.  I&#039;d like to think I&#039;d be better now.  I felt attacked and responded that way rather than, you know, &lt;i&gt;listening to why the caller said that&lt;/i&gt;.  *sigh*)</description>

		<description>I think there is a difference between &quot;sexism&quot; and &quot;misogyny.&quot; Sexism would entail critics saying that a woman couldn&#039;t do the job because she wasn&#039;t suited to it, as far as gender is concerned.

However, what Clinton received was anything but sexism. It was outright misogyny - very personal attacks on her as a person because of her gender. (And I am not a Clinton supporter.)

I would agree that sexism and misogyny are not the same thing and are not of the same caliber. I would also say that misogyny and racism are pretty much equal, in regards to the hate quotient.

I also find it absolutely asinine that the definition of &quot;misogyny&quot; would change. Is the definition of &quot;racism&quot; going to change too??</description>
