This reminds me of one of my first feminist mindblowing moments. There was a commercial on TV for a new show (I think it was based on Huxley’s Brave New World) and it showed some beautiful people and said “What if you could have sex with anyone you wanted….. What if anyone who wanted could have sex with you.” And I was stunned by that simple issue, one of consent, and this smacks of that. Everyone wants a piece of her, it doesn’t mean that they should be able to use her image to get off, to imagine that it is her, it is incredibly violating.
