Back Up Your Birth Control: NYC Day of Action

Those of us here probably know why emergency contraception (EC) and its availability are so important to women everywhere.  Though hardly the most ideal method of contraception, it is effective — and it prevents both unplanned pregnancies and abortions.

But far too many women still don’t know what EC is or how to get it. That’s why events like the one taking place in NYC on March 25 are so important:

Wednesday, March 25th

Create your own shift anytime between 7:30 am – 7:30 pm

Join NARAL Pro-Choice New York and Planned Parenthood of New York City activists as we hit subway stations throughout NYC to keep New Yorkers safe and spread the word about Emergency Contraception.  We will hand out condoms and information about how to get EC to everyone who passes by.  Join NARAL representatives or organize at your favorite stop at a time that works for you – it’s your choice.
